About the Practice
A space built on trust, warmth, and genuine care.
Blue Jay Collective is a private counselling practice dedicated to supporting women through some of life's most difficult experiences — with compassion, without judgment, and always at your pace.

Meet Your Counsellor
Hi, I'm Lindsay — and I'm glad you found your way here.
I'm a Social Worker and the founder of Blue Jay Collective, established in 2020. I hold a Bachelor of Social Work (Honours Class 1) from the University of Newcastle, and I've spent my career working predominantly with women and families in the areas of child protection and domestic and family violence.
I'm passionate about supporting women to explore their experiences of trauma and develop strategies to manage its impacts. My practice draws on a range of evidence-based therapeutic models — including Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) — with a special interest in trauma and the use of creative arts as therapy.
Whatever brings you here, you deserve to be heard, believed, and supported. I'm here to walk alongside you — at your pace, on your terms.
How I Work
My approach, in practice.
Trauma-Informed
Everything I do is grounded in an understanding of how trauma affects the mind, body, and sense of self. We move at your pace — always.
Non-Judgmental
This is a space free from shame, blame, or expectation. Whatever you bring, you will be met with compassion and respect.
Strengths-Based
I believe in your resilience. Together we build on what is already within you — your courage, your wisdom, your capacity to heal.
